What are the advantages of UPE film compared to PTFE film?

UPE film is made of high-quality raw materials with a molecular weight of up to 4.5 million, meeting ASTM requirements. UPE film has become a widely used industrial raw material due to its superior wear resistance, impact resistance, and self-lubrication properties. It is widely used in various occasions and products such as coal mining, shipbuilding, transportation, foot pads, foot stickers, insulation materials, wear-resistant gaskets, furniture foot pads, slides, wear-resistant panels, food processing table panels, etc. From a cost perspective, the density of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UPE) film is relatively small. In square terms, the price of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UPE) is 50% lower than that of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Therefore, UPE film has gradually replaced PTFE film as the raw material for foot mats in foundry factories. Compared to the material used in traditional mouse foot pads, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UPE) is more wear-resistant, and UPE's self-lubrication is similar to PTFE. Meanwhile, from a cost perspective, the density of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UPE) is relatively small, and when converted to square, it is 50% lower than PTFE.
