China’s fluorochemical industry chain has largely taken shape, producing fluorinated products such as Teflon film, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and fluororubber; however, it remains insufficient. The fluorochemical industry is a new sector of the chemical materials industry, also known as the ‘golden industry’. Fluorochemical products are widely used in aviation, defence, chemical engineering and mechanical engineering sectors. Fluorochemical products possess excellent properties such as chemical resistance, resistance to high and low temperatures, ageing resistance, low friction and electrical insulation, and have become a strategic emerging industry driving the rapid development of the chemical sector. Fluorocoatings based on polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) are high-performance speciality coatings for Teflon films; PTFE offers outstanding flexibility, water resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and low-temperature flexibility. The performance and texture requirements for PTFE composite materials are also becoming increasingly stringent. Waste plastics are primarily used as substitutes for ordinary resin adhesives and possess excellent chemical resistance. In terms of mixing efficiency, they demonstrate notable thermal stability and non-stick properties, with minimal downtime. Naturally, they are commonly referred to as polytetrafluoroethylene, Teflon, or PTFE. Consequently, extrusion moulding—also known as extrusion or PVC extrusion—with high melt strength can be used to produce foamed composite materials for PTFE sheets, whilst non-stick coatings offer excellent processing properties. Plant fibres such as wood flour, rice husks and agricultural straw are generally used in modified eco-friendly materials for outdoor components. Furthermore, this helps to reduce thermal degradation of the material. As the coefficient of friction varies by 150 during load sliding, there are significant differences in performance.
